What is ReviveCR?

This s a community-wide effort to bring Christians together for a time of worship and prayer. Our goal is to promote unity in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City/Coralville area and to "revive" our city around prayer and reaching our community for Christ.

What time does the event start and end where is it being held?

The event will be held at the outdoor bandstand at NewBo Market and begins at 6pm and concludes by 9.00pm.

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes. Food will begin being offered by 5pm via the food trucks / vendors on site.

What should I bring and is this a family-friendly event?

Bring a blanket and chairs. Families and kids are welcome!

What will the evening look like?

We will be led in worship by The Elim Arrival and local worship leaders. The evening will also include prayer led by local pastors and ministry leaders. The evening will include an opportunity to accept or re-commit to Christ, but the focus will be on worship and prayer.

Why should I attend?

If you love the idea of our community coming together as "one body of Christ" to proclaim the name of Jesus and pray for our city, then this event is for you! We believe this is the first event of its kind in an outdoor setting in the Cedar Rapids downtown area. It is our belief that we are "better together" in honoring Christ and seeking the good of our city. This event is a visible and tangible demonstration of unity in our community.

Is there a cost?

No. The event is free and open to the public. An offering will be taken at the end of the program.
